Antonia Lofaso

Antonia's Lofaso invites you to explore her inner world through the cuisine she creates. Her curiosity grew as she moved from the Long Island suburbs to explore the rich cultural diversity of Los Angeles. Cavatelli and Carnitas have the ability to blend seamlessly in the menus, a belief which has evolved in the course of time. All of her dishes are filled with her unique vision for the future, as well as reminiscing on the previous. Scopa Italian Roots is a restaurant founded by Lofaso in 2013. The restaurant was opened by her due to her Italian-American background. Lofaso's take on old-school Italian is regarded as one of Los Angeles' most compelling Italian eateries. Food at Lofaso is genuine, warm and pleasing. Lofaso worked under culinary greats to acquire their specialized techniques. She was also not afraid to make extraordinary decisions to honor her gut instincts. She quickly rose through the ranks of Wolfgang Puck's Spago and then went on to transform various high-profile kitchens of Los Angeles while working closely with a variety of famous celebrities. Lofaso created Black Market Liquor Bar with Sal Aurora and Mario Guddemi in Studio City, California. The Lofaso is now settling at Black Market, and through the partnerships that she created. The creative spirit of Lofaso would be fostered with this partnership. Black Market is not constrained to a specific direction and that is the intention. It could start with dill chips, then shishitos peppers. Then comes a Korean wing and finally meatballs. Antonia Lofaso, the cook behind this mouth-watering menu of strong flavors, is the anchor of it all. Lofaso assessed her success in the field in part by her ability to both understand and be authentic to her audiences. Alongside her unforgettable performances in Top Chef Chicago and Top Chef: All Stars, her distinctiveness was also praised outside of the kitchen. In the present, she remains a standout on screen in her role as a CNBC judge and recurring role in the Food Network's Cutthroat Kitchen Man vs. Child. In 2012, Lofaso was a part of Penguin to release"The Busy Mother's Cookbook 100 Cooking Ideas for Delicious Home-cooked Meals, which also tells the story of the challenges she overcame while studying at the elite French Culinary Institute, and simultaneously caring for her child Xea. Lofaso believes that the motivation behind all of her accomplishments is rooted in the kitchen, and it's through this vein that she keeps her a firm finger on the pulse. Chefletics revolutionizes the look of Chefwear with its emphasis on fashion and practicality. Lofaso believes that staying true your vision is important. In order to achieve her goals, she launched Antonia Lofaso Catering. It allows customers to enjoy the most personal experience.
